Lasermark Framing...

Lasermark carries a large selection of picture frame mouldings and mount boards. We undertake all types of picture framing and are pleased to accept orders for individual items, as well as multiple orders for corporate clients. The choice of framing should always enhance the artwork and we are pleased to assist customers with their framing selection. Our aim is to provide a consistently high quality of picture framing at a competitive price.

In addition, we offer more elaborate framing options for three dimensional artefacts. Over the years, we have been asked to frame an interesting selection of unusual objects d'art.

Lasermark makes use of many different framing materials, offering a choice of either factory-finished or bare wood mouldings, hand finished in our workshop. We produce a range of hand applied finishes onto bare timbers, blending various paints, stains and waxes to produce an extensive choice of finishes, both rough and smooth in texture, to a variety of different timbers and framing profiles. This has become increasingly popular in recent years and consequently the diversity of our hand finishing has developed and expanded to meet the demand. Many of our moulding finishes are designed to suit individual pieces of art or particular decor, as requested by the customer. This is especially popular with interior designers and artists putting on exhibitions.

Conservation framing is also undertaken, using a range of acid free mounting materials, to preserve artwork in its original state. In addition, a selection of glare reducing and protective glazing products is offered, in place of conventional picture framing float glass. This helps to minimise damage to artwork, caused by ultra-violet light, and is well worth considering for protecting pieces of art that are of high monetary or sentimental value.

In addition to the more conventional framing requirements, Lasermark specialises in making frames for any number of unusual items of memorabilia. These are usually mounted and displayed in deep box frames. They have included such items as:

Sports shirts, caps and boots
Cricket bats and balls
Collections of medals, coins, and keys
Costumes and masks
Ancient scrolls
Tiles and ornaments
Puppets and pantie;
Lady Diana’s favourite baseball cap

And even an Egyptian burial shroud!

You name it, we can frame it!

We also undertake the framing of unusually large paintings, either on paper or canvas, usually for artist’s exhibitions or individual collectors.

The framing workshop provides its services to a number of picture galleries, artists, interior designers, offices, pubs and clubs, and assorted trade clients. A free collection and delivery service is offered to regular trade accounts. The workshop is able to offer an extensive range of framing skills, due to the wide experience and technical ability of it's staff. They are the greatest asset of the business and have many years of framing experience to draw from.
